Department of Electronic Media: System Theory and Technology

In the department of "Electronic Media: System Theory and Technology", the main focus is on research topics which are directly related to Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB). Five scientific assistants are currently working in sub-groups of the DVB Project on the development of specifications for the standardisation at ETSI. Among other tasks, Prof. Reimers is the Chairman of the Technical Module of the DVB Project, a consortium uniting more than 280 member organisations from 32 countries.
