Students Excursions

General Excursion:

In the annual excursion week, the IfN goes on a field trip to alternating regions of Germany. The destinations are various companies providing an insight into their activities. The convivial evenings offer the possibility for students to talk with the lecturers and assistants in a relaxed atmosphere.

The field trip in 2010 took us to the Rhein-Main area. We visited Hessischer Rundfunk, Panasonic, ESOC and the Fraunhofer-Institut for Visual Computing (IGD).

In 2011, our field trip takes us to Southern Germany where we'll visit OSRAM, Siemens, Bayerischer Rundfunk (the Bavarian Broadcasting Company), as well as Fraunhofer-Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen (IIS).

Electroacoustics Excursion:

At the end of the winter semester, a field trip to Sennheiser and PTB will be performed subsequent to the lecture Electroacoustics. More information will be available here in due time.
