FKTG Awards 2012 for Institute for Communications Technology

 

Two awards and an honourary membership went to members of staff of the IfN during the 25^th FKTG conference.

• The Hochschulabsolventen Award given to university graduates was awarded to Jan Zoellner for his diploma thesis: "Implementierung eines DVB-C Messempfängers".
• The Rudolf-Urtel Award went to Arnd Eden (alumnus) for his dissertation: "Eine Methode zur Messung der Bildqualität komprimierter Videosequenzen".
• Prof. Dr. Ing. Ulrich Reimers was given the honourary membership of the FKTG. Thus FKTG convey their appreciations for his successful merits as first chairman for many years between 1990 and 2002.
