Self-Organizing Networks



The student will get in-depth knowledge in the area of Self-Organizing Networks and Cognitive Network Management of mobile radio systems. After completing this module the students will be able to analyse actual research papers on network management of future mobile radio systems, give clear presentations on these topics and apply the knowledge for own research.


An accompanying exercise is offered together with the lecture. The exercise is organised as a so-called "reading class" in which the students are presenting current publications to the above specified themes.

Information about exam:

All participants of the exam have to bring along their student ID and a valid photo ID for verification purpose.

For the examination, students are requested to register either by phone or personally to Petra Beyer but no later than 1 week before the exam date. The following information is necessary: name, first name, matriculation no., course of study, semester, e-mail address. 

In case you need to cancel your registration please inform Petra Beyer. Please sign off no later than 5 days before the requested exam date. Please do not forget to deregister at your faculty as well.
